Actually, Bill O'Farrell said that he was the only guy who could pull a PowerPoint presentation out of stone, so he got to be CEO. He claims to have done it before - he was co-founder and CEO of SpeechWorks, OpenAir.com, and the company that developed Adobe's AfterEffects, albeit that's all ancient history now.
Peter Woo, Tibet Sprague, and Matt Gillooly came here after making the world safe for shuttle buses. Their previous company, East Transit Technologies, has software that can tell you where every shuttle bus in Providence, RI has ever been (which should make some of those drivers really nervous).
Chris Shoemaker, Miriam Goldberg, Neha Nahar, and Spiros Eliopoulos spend a lot of time thinking about really complicated stuff, like how do you get information out of a site, where do you put it, and why. (That 'why' is always hard to answer). Kathleen Murtagh and Michael Leone are doing a variety of web development, testing, and generally keeping the wheels on.
