Finding Meaning in Data
We're developing a set of useful and, we hope, cool applications for extracting, understanding, and structuring information from the web. We're making use of developing standards - such as iCal, CalDAV, and hCal; and, we have some fairly serious rocket science going on - information extraction, parsing, natural language processing. We're developing our applications in Ruby on Rails.
We're particularly focused on dealing with event and calendar or schedule information - time, date, place, description, details. We can find it, extract it, structure it, understand it, and let you mix, match, and share it. That helps web publishers deal with the data much better, and enables mere mortals to keep track of all that info.
Our first application is FuseCal. Why don't you kick the tires and let us know what you think.
